Meet Rose. She asked us to keep her identity private and to share her story hoping it may inspire someone. Rose is a Navy veteran and came to us asking for help. She was quiet and shared that she wanted basic weight loss. Due to previous injuries, busy schedule and some financial limitations, she was able to commit to 3 days a week for 7 months. During those 7 months, Rose went through ups and downs and struggled with what she wanted. She also battled with a menacing schedule that would put her back.
Thanks to the encouragement of Strong House Training, she found that her relationship with food was holding her back. She also was able to learn the fundamentals of lifting and building her strength without accruing injury’s or flare ups from her previous ones. If she couldn’t make it one day, she understood that it wasn’t the end of the world. She could always come back to it another time. Being that she was motivated by one of our coaches, she had constant check ins making sure she was on her way to success through positive affirmation, constant encouragement, and motivation.
We find that we are teachers to our clients. Today Rose is our star client of the month because we have personally seen the sacrifice she has taken to make better decisions and life changes for her health because she was given the tools to do so. She applies them rigorously to her day to day habits.
