David has accomplished so many victories in his quest to become healthier. After taking some time off to recover from a non-related training injury, David has made a triumphant return to training to achieve some major gains in strength and conditioning. When he returned, there was a period of stability training which laid the foundation to return to his roots in powerlifting. These consist of the big three lifts (deadlift, bench, and squats). With hard work and consistency, David has lost body fat, inches and has had a dramatic increase in strength. He has increased in weight 30% on average in every lift but has also made a vast improvements in his cardiovascular development, decreasing his quarter mile and half mile time. David is a prime example of a non-scale victory. Even though there has been modest improvement in his physical appearance, he has made momentous gains in his strength and conditioning which will help him when he registers to for the Navy Reserves.
