Everyone appreciates strong, well-developed glutes. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but they actually serve a greater purpose.


The Back Story

There are three glutes and they work as a tag team. The gluteus maximus is the one that we are all familiar with, it provides the shape.The glutes along with the piriformis provide hip stability through all planes of motion, the glute can also help with knee stability. There are a ton of activities that work the glute.

Hip Raise

  1. Lie on your back with your arms at your side.

  2. Raise your hip until your body forms a straight line and hold.

  3. Return to starting position.
